This feature can be found in the menus of the individual functions under Face Finder.

To activate it, set a check mark in the Settings field under Use Face Finder.(see figure "Face Finder menu")

However, this command is only available in some functions, which are:

Move: Move Face, Offset Region, Resize Face
Reuse: Copy Face, Cut Face, Mirror Face
Relate: Make Parallel, Make Coplanar, Make Coaxial, Make Tangent, Make Symmetric, Make Perpendicular, Group Face

Example of use

Using the shaft in front of you, retrace the functions of the Face Finder.

Use the Move Face function to select the central cylinder of the shaft. The following functions are now displayed under the Results tab in the Face Finder:

  • Coaxial: Selects sections of the shaft that are coaxial to the selected section and have the same radius.
  • Coaxial (Far): Selects sections that are only coaxial to the selected section but have different radii.
  • Coplanar Axes (Far): Selects sections whose axes are parallel to the axis of the selected section but have different radii.
  • Equal Radius: Selects sections that have the same radius.
