8.1.7.2 Offset Edge

This Offset Edge function works in a similar way to the Offset Region function, except that it only moves edges instead of surface groups.

Here it is possible to select under the register Offset under Change which Face the Edge is Offset Along , along which of the adjacent surfaces the edge is to be moved. Under Reverse Offset Direction you can still change directions. 

If you have selected several edges, select the option under Settings in End Face Behaviour. This means that unselected adjacent areas are not affected by your settings. However, if your selection is , the surrounding edges are also moved according to the calculations of the program.
