The Group Face command groups several faces into a group face. This allows you to select multiple faces by selecting one of the faces belonging to the group.
Select the Group Face 
command and select the faces you want to group. In the Settings tab of the dialog box, check the box for Rigid Group so that your faces move synchronously from now on, e. g. if you select a face in the Move Face window.
