The display is an element to show values throughout the entire simulation. It can be enabled and disabled. If enable, it periodically updates the value.

Enhance your simulation model

Task:

Monitor the number of assembled pneumatic cylinders.

Step-by-Step:

1. Create a display "Display" somewhere on the frame (see figure 1). 
2. Open the display.
3. In the path field input the monitored state (1). For example press on the button "..." at the right side of the field (1). Select "Assembly" and double-clickon the entry. Then select "statNumOut" for the elements which left the station "Assembly". Press the button "OK" to submit.
4. In the comment field input a descriptive text like "Final Assembly Count: " (2). Press "OK" to submit.
5. Activate the display by either clicking on the active checkbox (3) or by right-clicking on the display and selecting the menu entry "Enable" (4).
6. Run the simulation and keep oberserving the display. Each time a completely assembled pneymatic cylinders leaves the sation the display's value is incremented.
