2.3.3 Positioning Objects in Digital Factory Layout

After you load the objects or the study file in the Graphic Viewer, you can position the objects according to the layout plan of the digital factory. Object placement is one of the most important tasks in designing your digital factory in 3D environment.

Tools Toolbar

Listed below are the functions available from the Tools toolbar. The placement functions are also available from the menu bar via Tools > Placement, the collision functions are available from Tools > Collision.

Button	Function	Description
	Placement Manipulator	Enables you to move and rotate selected objects
	Relocate	Enables you to reposition an object
	Fast Placement	Enables you to move an object only along its linear x- and y-axis
	Collision Mode On/Off	Enables you to activate/deactivate Collision mode
	Fast Collision	Enables you to quickly create a collision set from selected objects
