3.3 Humans in Process Simulate

The human functionality in Process Simulate enables you to design, analyze, and optimize manual workplaces. You can define task sequences for humans in the virtual environment and then analyze ergonomic and timing requirements. The human model in Process Simulate enables following tasks and analysis:

• Manual design of human postures and select joint positions
• Check the grip range of human model
• Attach human model on parts, so that the human model follows the parts through defined paths

For the following chapters, open the project Process Designer Example in Process Simulate via direct access and load the study in standard mode. Alternatively, load the study from Process Designer in Process Simulate using the standard mode.
