3.3.2.2 Posture Library

The Posture Library enables you to save different postures for human models. You can also select and apply a posture from the Posture Library to the human model to quickly change its posture. The posture can be applied to either half of the body or symmetrically. You can also define whether the posture should be applied to a specified body parts. To apply postures from the posture library:

  1. Select a human model, either in the Graphic Viewer or from the Object Tree.
  2. Open the Posture Library dialog box using one of the following steps:
    • Select Human > Human Postures > Posture Library from the menu bar,
    • Click the Posture Library button on the toolbar.
  3. In the Posture Library dialog box, select one of the posture. The selected human model in the Graphic Viewer assumes the selected posture automatically.
  4. You can specify how the posture is applied to the human model by checking the box in the Apply To area.
  5. Click Create Op. to save the posture as a new operation (similar to a device operation), Reset to return the human model to its original posture, and Close to close the Posture Library dialog box and adopt the new posture without saving the new posture as an operation.

Saving Posture in the Posture Library

The Save Current Posture option enables you to save the current posture of the selected human model. This can be used to save a new posture of a human model, after you manipulate the posture using the Man Jog option. To save the current posture, select the human model, either in the Graphic Viewer or from the Object Tree, and select Human > Human Postures > Save Current Posture from the menu bar. The posture is saved in the posture library in the Unassigned category with the name NoName00#.
