3.1.1 Loading Study in Process Simulate

When you launch Process Simulate, nothing will be displayed in the Graphic Viewer before you load a study. Load a study from a project in Process Simulate by following these steps:

1. If the Navigation Tree is not displayed the first time you open Process Simulate, select View > Open With > Navigation Tree from the menu bar to display the Navigation Tree.
2. Right-click the study under the Study Folder in the Navigation Tree and select Load in Standard Mode from the context menu.

Loading Study from Process Designer in Process Simulate

An alternative method for launching Process Simulate is to use the access via Process Designer. This is recommended if you are already working in Process Designer. If you launch Process Simulate via Process Designer, the study is automatically loaded in Process Simulate, regardless whether you have loaded the study in Process Designer or not.

1. Within a Process Designer application, select the study you wish to load under the StudyFolder in the Navigation Tree.
2. Right-click and select Open with Process Simulate in Standard Mode from the context menu.
3. Process Simulate will be started with the study already loaded.
