3.1.2.1 Sequence Editor

The Sequence Editor displays the details of the Current Operation. An operation set as current operation is displayed in bold in the Operation Tree. You can run the simulation of the current operation in the Sequence Editor and add events to the selected current operation. You can also adjust the duration or change the start and end of the current operation in he Sequence Editor.

The Sequence Editor includes two areas, an operation tree area on the left and a Gantt Chart area on the right. The operation tree area displays a hierarchical tree of the current operation. The Gantt Chart area displays the operations and sub-operations as a Gantt chart, which illustrates their relationship and the duration of the operation. When you run the simulation of an operation, you can see the operation running in the Graphic Viewer and a vertical red line moves along the operation in the Gantt chart.

If the Sequence Editor is not displayed when you open Process Simulate, select View > Viewers > Sequence Editor from the menu bar to display the Sequence Editor. You can add an operation to the Sequence Editor using one of the following steps:

  • Drag and drop the operation from the Operation Tree to the Sequence Editor,
  • Right-click the operation in the Operation Tree and select Set Current Operation from the context menu,
  • Select the operation in the Operation Tree and click the Set Current Operation button from the toolbar.
